Piling work completes on the new Multi-Storey Car Park at Calderdale Royal Hospital

Published on:

Just seven weeks ago piling work started on the new Multi-Storey Car Park (MSCP) at Calderdale Royal Hospital. In that short time 289 individual concrete pillars have been put into the ground and filled. The pillars will provide the stability to the new car park.

Finishing the piling work means that we are making good progress on the construction of the MSCP. In the coming weeks the pillars will be capped with more concrete before pre-cast concrete panels and steel sections of the building are bought on to site.
