Huddersfield
The new A&E at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary is a much-needed replacement for the existing department which dates back to the 1960s. It is in a brand-new location on South Drive easily accessed from Acre Street with parking facilities for cars and ambulances.
Calderdale
The new buildings at Calderdale Royal Hospital include a new A&E block, ward block, and a car park. All will be of a very modern design yet will be created in materials which will continue the theme of blending with and enhancing what is already there and with the local townscape.
