Changes to the CRH A&E car park as enabling work to get ready for construction continues

Published on:

As the enabling work to get ready for construction of the new hospital building at Calderdale Royal Hospital (CRH) continues, there will be some changes to parking in our A&E car park.

From Monday, 5th October, the A&E car park at CRH will be for patient drop-offs and emergency vehicle access only. At the same time, more parking will be available for our patients and visitors in the Women’s and Children’s car park, which means there will be a similar number of spaces to now. There will be clear signage in place, and colleagues in the car park will be available to help guide patients to the right place.

There will also be some temporary traffic management on Godfrey Road outside our A&E entrance and Green Park Street from Monday, 5th October for five days. This is to allow Heffernan Utilities to carry out essential work.

Parking spaces at CRH continue to be for patients and their visitors only. Taxis are advised to continue to use the Hospital Service Entrance on Dudwell Lane while the main entrance to CRH remains temporarily closed.

Thank you for your understanding as we get CRH ready for construction.
