A&E Entrance road to Calderdale Royal Hospital will be reduced to one lane to allow for essential works

Published on:

From Monday, 25th May the entrance road to the A&E at CRH will be reduced to one lane. This is the entrance off Godfrey Road.

This temporary lane closure is expected to last around six weeks and is for essential drainage work as part of getting CRH ready for construction of the new hospital building later this year.

There will be 24/7 traffic management on site to allow emergency services to get through to our A&E department quickly.

Patients and visitors to CRH are asked to keep the route clear, and park in the Women's and Children’s Car Park, or use public transport, where possible. The patient drop-off area outside the A&E department will continue to be available.

Pedestrian access will still be available, including accessible routes, with a short diversion in place. This will be clearly signposted on site.

Thank you for your understanding during these essential works.
