Welcome to Foundations for our Future

Our long-term plan to transform our hospital and community services in Calderdale and Huddersfield

This investment will transform our services, providing high quality, compassionate care to our patients, whilst improving the experience of our staff in line with our One Culture of Care.

Our plan is our future. It will deliver care closer to home in the community, supported by sustainable and innovative healthcare in our two hospitals. By 2029, both hospitals will have 24/7 consultant led A&E services, with our planned care located in Huddersfield and our unplanned (acute) services in Calderdale.
