We’re at the half-way point of the new HRI A&E build and last week we welcomed guests from the Integrated Care Board for a guided tour and look around. Our CEO, Brendan Brown, said: “All the planning is coming together. We will really see the benefit from all the space – it’s enlightening. In fact it's pretty phenomenal!"

Next stages are:

• Internal partitions are ongoing.
• Mechanical & electrical works inside are starting to gain momentum.
• The stone-work to the façade continues to the North, East & South elevations.
• Our roofing contractor has finished the plant room roof and is now focusing on the main roof works.
• The aluminium cladding to the plant room has commenced.
